Exercise Programming
The exercises that actually retrain your structure are not the ones in a generic PT handout.
Specific exercises matched to your specific findings: that's what restores muscle activation patterns and locks structural change in place. Generic strengthening misses the point.
What it is
Guided corrective exercise is a tailored program built from your specific intake findings: what's tight, what's weak, what's compensating, and what's gone offline entirely. Generic "strengthen your core" advice rarely works because it doesn't target the deep stabilizers that have actually stopped firing.
Our exercise programming targets the specific muscles you've lost access to, in the specific order they need to come back online, with specific loading that respects whatever phase of structural care you're in.
What to expect
You'll get a program of typically 3–6 specific exercises to do at home, usually 10–15 minutes daily. We'll teach you each one in clinic, and you'll see them progressed every few weeks as your tolerance and structure improve.
Most of these exercises look small. They feel small. But they're targeting the deep muscles that need to come back online, not the showy ones. Done consistently, they're often the difference between care that holds and care that doesn't.
Who it helps most
Guided corrective exercise is part of nearly every care plan because: - It's how you keep what we built in clinic - It addresses specific deficits a generic PT program doesn't - It progresses with your structural improvements - Without it, gains drift back faster than they need to
